House rules

Respect builds

No griefing, stealing, or destructive “pranks.” Ask before you alter shared areas.

Respect players

Keep it friendly. No harassment, hate speech, or doxxing.

Play fair

No hacked clients or unfair automation. If you’re unsure, ask first.

The world

TinkersCraft is a Hard survival server with extreme terrain. Above the water, the overworld uses Minecraft Amplified generation: tall mountains, steep cliffs, and hanging land. Below, custom cave generation creates large chambers and long tunnels. The caves stay filled with air. Oceans and rivers still have water.

Above the water

Amplified overworld

Expect tall mountains, steep drops, and biomes packed close together. You can build on a peak, settle in a canyon, or spend a long time exploring the surface.

Below the water

Massive caves

Cave systems are much larger than vanilla, with wide chambers and long tunnels. They are not flooded, so you can travel underground for a long time on foot.

How to join

The server runs Paper 26.2. You can join with a normal Minecraft 26.2 client. On join, Minecraft will ask you to download Crop & Kettle. That pack is required so food, crops, and kitchen blocks look right. For the recommended setup, also download the Fabric pack (UNZIP_ME.zip). It includes Sodium, Iris, maps, and extra resource packs.

Required on join · accept the Crop & Kettle resource pack prompt

Recommended · unzip UNZIP_ME.zip and use the files inside for Fabric, mods, and packs

Custom packs

Datapacks we wrote for this server. They run on the live world and do not change the terrain.

Night sky

Shooting stars

On clear nights, shooting stars streak across the sky. Rarer falling stars come down and leave a small gift where they land. They show up more often around a new moon.

The sky

Sky dragons

Ender dragons cruise the horizon: they fly in from far off, bank or waddle across, and leave the other way. Hungry ones will stoop for wild horses. Killing one can drop an elytra.

The wild

Boss mobs

Named bosses wait out in the world until someone finds them. Stormcallers, witches, knights, wolves, a zombie horse, a magma cube on cave lava, and a few stranger ones. They use magic, call minions, and drop real loot.

Camp

Campfire rest

Stand close to a lit campfire and you slowly regain health. Soul campfires count too. Tamed wolves, cats, and parrots nearby warm up with you.

Not one of ours

Crop & Kettle

A cooking datapack by maybejake. New crops, over 100 recipes, kitchen blocks, and a cookbook that updates as you find ingredients. The server asks you to download its textures when you join.
